Our club recognized and celebrated the accomplishments of 2 students of the month for January 2026.

Carlos Abello was recognized for his accomplishments as one of our 2 students of the month for January 2026. Carlos is a very active student with activities that include preparing and serving meals for the homeless at the East Chestnut Street Mennonite Church, an active cross-country runner (1- and 2-mile events), and plays both the piano and violin. He looks forward to a future 4-year studies at a university to study biochemistry and a future as a Med student for a career as a doctor or surgeon. Our club was pleased to learn how accomplished the students of the month are!

Nora Schlegel was recognized for her accomplishments as one of our 2 students of the month for January 2026. She is very active in the stage crew (preparing for this spring's Les Mis show), supporting the Anchor Club which serves the local community and is a member of the young democrats. Hobbies include reading, building Legos and watching football - Super Sunday should be a fund day! She has an amazing future planned - 4-year undergraduate work on her way to attending Law School. Wow - a very accomplished young 'future Rotarian'!
