Our Club celebrated the accomplishments of 2 Students of the month for April 2025
Congratulations to Jairus (Jerry) Alvares-Green as a student of the month for April 2025! Jerry is active with Track at school - 100-yard dash and other events! Travel plans include going to Brooklyn NY for a Mission trip to support impoverished residents - congratulations to Jerry for performing an important Rotary goal!! He plans to pursue trade school at Thadeus Stevens after graduation to become a master welder.
We also congratulated and recognized Ava Hummer as a student of the month for April 2025. Her academic interests include environmental science and biology. Ava tutors' special needs children, helps with community events and is a youth camp counselor - all great Rotary ideals! She spends time with family, creating art and snowboarding. She plans to attend college to explore her interests in environmental studies and travel to experience different cultures and landscapes. A future with Rotary will help her meet those goals!
