Our Club completed the assembly and installation of laptop charging stations for the Lancaster Lebanon Literacy Council.

The Lancaster-Hempfield Club completed one aspect of their District Grant project by purchasing, unpacking and setting up three large charging carts for laptop computers at the Lancaster-Lebanon Literacy Council. The Literacy Council, which provides educational services for adults to facilitate employment, uses computers to teach computer and language skills. They were fortunate to receive a grant for the laptops, but charging and securing over 100 laptop computers required the special charging carts that were not in their budget. Five Rotarians helped move the carts up the stairs to where they would be used and threaded the wires through the carts, so they were ready to be put into service.
